01 The brief
A warm, traditional-leaning kitchen built around a professional range and an island where the family actually gathers.
02 The constraint
A large range and hood on the main wall, open shelving on the wish list, and storage that still had to be generous.
03 The solution
Tall inset oak cabinets bookend the range wall. Open oak shelves sit either side of a brushed bronze hood, and the island carries the seating and everyday prep.
04 Cabinetry
Rift white oak slim shaker doors set inset on a face frame, with small bronze knobs and bin pulls that will darken gently with use.
05 Stone & metal
Honed warm-white quartzite counters and backsplash, a pot filler at the range and one metal used throughout so the room reads as one.
