Our commitment

We want ErieKitchens.com to be usable by everyone. The site is built toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet completed an independent audit, so we don't claim full conformance.

What is built in

• Semantic HTML with a logical heading order on every page.
• Full keyboard navigation, including the menu, mega menu, material explorer and inquiry form, with visible focus states.
• A skip link to jump straight to the main content.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative imagery is hidden from assistive technology.
• Respect for your device's reduced-motion setting: smooth scrolling, the preloader and animated scenes are switched off and replaced with simple layouts.
• Color combinations chosen for sufficient contrast against the brand's dark and light grounds.
• Touch targets sized for comfortable use on phones.

Known limitations

Ambient material films are decorative and have no audio. Some interactive diagrams convey information visually; the same information is always available in the surrounding text.
